Flint River - Georgia

The Flint River flows combines with the Chattahoochee to form the Apalachicola and flows into Florida and Gulf. The water flows through this system have been the subject of a long and intense battle between Georgia, Alabama and Florida. These flows nurture the Apalachicola Bay, home to the highly productive oyster beds and an old way of life. We should be doing everything we can to protect this vital basin.

Chattahoochee River

Flyfishing within the Atlanta city limits, yet it's hazardous to eat fish caught south of the city. the main water supply for five million people, yet it's the smallest river to support the water needs of any city of Atlanta's size in the US. Perhaps the most valuable resource in the state.
